Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: Sheriff’s deputies at the Lancaster Station received a call of a gunshot victim at a liquor store on 13th Street, West and Avenue I in the city of Lancaster on Tuesday night, June 21, 2022.

When deputies and paramedics from Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived, they found a male Black adult suffering from a gunshot wound. Witnesses stated the suspect fled the scene southbound through an alley.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are currently reviewing cameras at the liquor store and interviewing more witnesses about this incident.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Homicide detectives were notified and were on their way to the location.
