Driver Ejected, Critically Injured in Solo Vehicle Crash

Culver City, Los Angeles County, CA: A pickup truck crashed into a pillar ejecting the driver near the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and West Centinela Avenue in Culver City.

The single-vehicle collision was initially reported Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 9:40 p.m. Culver City Fire and police department responded to the location.

The critically injured male driver was transported to a local hospital, according to the Culver City Police Department.

Traffic was closed on West Centinela Avenue while officers conducted their investigation.

Culver City PD said the driver was ejected and that speed is one of the suspected factors in the collision, however, drugs/alcohol are unknown at this time.
