Fire Consumes 2 Electric Vehicles Parked in Driveway of La Habra Home

LA HABRA, CA, Aug. 8 (KNN) — A Tesla and an electric truck were destroyed by flames, prompting firefighters to summon cause investigators to a residence in La Habra early Tuesday morning.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department received multiple reports of a fire near the area of Imperial Highway and South Briercliff Drive shortly before 2:30 a.m.

Firefighters arrived at the 2500 block of Greenbrier Lane where two electric vehicles parked in a driveway were found fully engulfed in flames threatening the home. Both vehicles were being charged at the time of the fire.

Firefighters made an aggressive attack and were able to spare the structure from catching fire. The home was occupied at the time and the residents were seen outside.

No injuries were reported.

Cause investigators were summoned to the location. It is currently unclear if arson is suspected.
