Firefighters Battle Blaze at Dollar Tree Discount Store

North Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA: Firefighters battled the flames burning a Dollar Tree discount store Thursday night on the 6000 block of North Lankershim Boulevard in the North Hollywood neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the reported fire around 8:12 p.m. May 12, and located the one-story discount store with heavy fire.

The Greater Alarm structure fire was extinguished in 46 minutes by 83 firefighters at the scene, according to LAFD. The fire briefly threatened an adjoining restaurant. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under active investigation.
