Firefighters Battle Second Alarm Commercial Blaze in Bell Gardens

Bell Gardens, Los Angeles County, CA: Firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department battled a Second Alarm commercial structure fire reported around 4:10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, in the city of Bell Gardens.

Once firefighters arrived at the location on the 6700 block of Florence Avenue, they found a commercial building with heavy fire showing through the roof.

LACoFD upgraded the fire to Second Alarm, requesting additional resources to assist. Bell Gardens Police Department was on scene and assisting with traffic control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
