California Highway Patrol Baldwin Park officers responded to a traffic collision involving a semi that crashed into the right shoulder, striking a vehicle which caused the semi truck to crash uphill on the side of the westbound 60 Freeway at the Diamond Bar exit.

The driver of the semi was not injured. It is unknown at this time if the other vehicle was parked on the right shoulder or was struck while traveling westbound on the 60 Freeway.

It is unknown if speed was a factor or if the driver of the semi was fatigued at the time of the crash.

At the time of this report, it was unclear what impact the removal of the semi by a heavy duty tow truck would have on traffic.
