Firefighters Quickly Attack, Extinguish Montecito Heights Brush Fire

MONTECITO HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of a brush fire shortly before 11:30 p.m. Thursday on Radio Hill at Flat Top Park in the Montecito Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles.

When crews arrived on scene, they located an approximate 1/4 acre of brush burning adjacent to Fenn Street.

Crews attacked the fire from the ground and air support. Firefighters contained the flames and had the majority of the fire extinguished within 45 minutes.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
