LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9 (KNN) — Individuals lighting fireworks on Mulholland Drive during red flag wind conditions started a 50’ x 50′ brush fire Wednesday night in the 13200 block of West Mulholland Drive in the Beverly Crest neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Neighbors reported off camera that they observed individuals lighting fireworks around 10 p.m. and caused the brush fire.
The Los Angeles Fire Department dispatched a full brush fire response to the area around 10 p.m., and were able to achieve knockdown on the small spot in approximately 10 minutes.
Thankfully winds in the area were light at the time of the fire which aided in the quick knockdown.
