LANCASTER, Calif., Nov. 29 (KNN) — A Wednesday morning pursuit in the city of Lancaster ended with a suspect in custody and an injury to a Los Angeles Police Department officer.

At approximately 8:15 a.m., LAPD officers advised the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department that they were involved in a pursuit of a carjacked vehicle with armed and dangerous occupants.
The driver of the vehicle caused at least two vehicle traffic collisions while fleeing from law enforcement. At some points, the vehicle was traveling in excess of 100 mph.
According to the LASD, it was stated at 9:01 a.m. that an LAPD officer suffered a head trauma injury.
At least four occupants inside the pursued vehicle foot bailed at different times during the pursuit. One suspect can be seen taken into custody at Westridge and Via Rebecca in Lancaster.
