Investigation Underway into Stabbing Death of Man in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, Kern County, CA: First responders attempted to save the life of a stabbing victim Saturday night. The fatal incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., Mar. 11, on Stable Avenue in South Bakersfield.

When Kern County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the location along with Bakersfield Fire Department, they found an adult male unconscious and not breathing. CPR was immediately administered to the victim.

The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

KCSO is handling the investigation.
