La Verne, Los Angeles County, CA: Just before 1:00 a.m. Thursday, Apr. 21, La Verne Fire Department responded to the Circle K convenience store for reports of a stabbing at the intersection of Second Street and D Street in the city of La Verne.

A male victim was located in front of the Circle K store located in the University of La Verne dorm area. Paramedics transported the male victim to Pomona Valley Hospital in unknown condition. The victim appeared to be alert and conscious during transport.
