Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A man was found fatally shot during the day in a residential neighborhood in Lancaster on Monday, Mar. 21, 2022.

At approximately 4:25 p.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Division received a 911 call regarding shots fired in the 45100 block of 16th Street West.

Upon arrival, Sheriff’s Deputies discovered a black male down with multiple gunshot wounds. Firefighter and Paramedics responded from Station 33 to attend to the victim, however, he was pronounced deceased around 4:36 p.m.

Detectives quickly responded to the location and locked down the street to process the crime scene. It is unknown what led to the shooting and the status of the suspect.
