Man Falls, Dies While Filming TikTok Video in Downtown Los Angeles

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Mar. 1 (KNN) — Los Angeles police and fire officials are investigating a fatal incident that occurred in the 800 block of Grand at 2:45 a.m., according to authorities.

According to a sergeant speaking off-camera, a 20-year-old male fell from the top floor of a parking garage after possibly slipping off the railing.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics declared the male deceased at the scene.

Several friends who witnessed the incident are cooperating with investigators, and surveillance footage has been obtained to review the events leading up to the fall.

Authorities have stated that no foul play is suspected and believe the group was filming TikTok videos on the roof at the time of the incident.
