Glendale, Los Angeles County, CA: A victim of a shooting was located by Glendale Police Department and fire department when they responded to reports of the incident around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Wilson Avenue and Belmont Street in the city of Glendale.

When firefighters and officers arrived at the scene, they found one male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the back and side. The victim was transported to County Hospital in unknown condition.
Residents nearby stated they heard a loud argument outside before the shooting occurred. Units at the location responded to a hit-and-run call nearby, however, it is unknown if that incident is related to the suspect(s).
No suspects have been taken into custody at this time.
Glendale Police Department is investigating and had Belmont Street blocked off to traffic.
Residents also stated that the area has been targeted by a lot of car break-ins and may have been related to a break-in.
Glendale PD has not confirmed this is incident is connected.
