Police Search For Armed Suspects in Los Angeles Neighborhood

Vermont-Slauson, Los Angeles, CA: A Los Angeles Police Department K-9 unit and 77th Division officers were searching for two suspects who ran from officers Thursday night.

The suspects were seen running from officers carrying firearms.

LAPD established a large perimeter that covered Gage to the north, Figueroa to the east, Hoover to the west and Florence to the south in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood of Los Angeles.

K-9 officers were at the location searching through all of the properties contained in the area.

Suspects initially ran from officers at 10:22 p.m., May 4, and the search was still ongoing as of 12:20 a.m., May, 5.
