Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles County, CA: A vehicle crashed through a guardrail and landed upside down off of the 605 Freeway leaving one injured at the scene early Thursday morning.
The California Highway Patrol and Santa Fe Springs Fire Department responded to a traffic collision with a vehicle hanging off the freeway on the southbound 605 to the southbound 5 Freeway at approximately 12:39 a.m., May 4, in the city of Santa Fe Springs.
Santa Fe Springs FD and paramedics transported one person to a local hospital in unknown condition from the scene of the crash.
It is unknown at this time if speed was a factor or if rain played a role.
CHP had issued a SigAlert for an unknown amount of time for the SB 605 and SB 5 Freeways, and requested a heavy-duty tow truck to lift the vehicle up and away from the freeway.
