1 Dead, Multiple Injured in Interstate 215 Hit-and-Run Collision

San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, CA: A highway traffic collision involving an alleged hit-and-run vehicle left one dead at the scene and multiple patients injured late Wednesday night.

The collision was reported around 11:52 p.m., May 3, on Interstate 215 before the University Parkway exit in the city of San Bernardino.

The original dispatch was for a hit-and-run traffic collision with injuries.

At least three patients were involved in the crash. One patient was pronounced deceased at the scene. An Amazon 16-wheeler truck and a vehicle were observed at the location with damage.

The far left lane was opened to traffic after a one hour hard closure.

California Highway Patrol remained on scene investigating the cause of the collision.
