Central Los Angeles area CHP and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to 8th Street and located the seriously injured passenger who was then transported to a local hospital.
The 29-year-old adult male driver from Los Angeles was later booked, according to CHP, but there is no further information regarding the 17-year-old juvenile passenger.
