The first 126-hour closure will take place Wednesday, July 20, at 11:00 p.m. through Tuesday, July 26, at 5:00 a.m. on westbound I-210 between Irwindale Avenue and I-605. The second closure will repeat on eastbound I-210 between I-605 and Irwindale Avenue on Wednesday, August 17, at 11:00 p.m. through Tuesday, August 23, at 5:00 a.m., according to the Caltrans website.

Caltrans stated major delays are expected on I-210 near the work zone due to the lanes being reduced. Delays are also expected on I-605 and on local city streets.

Caltrans advises motorists to use I-10 or SR-60 as alternate routes, use public transportation on the Metro L Line (Gold) or Metrolink, avoid any travel during the closures, and if possible, work from home.
