Sand Canyon Brush Fire Contained

Sand Canyon, Los Angeles County, CA: Los Angeles County Fire Department and Angeles National Forest responded to a brush fire that broke out in the Sand Canyon community at the intersection of Sand Canyon Road and Robinson Ranch Road on Wednesday, July 20, around 5:41 p.m.

The brush fire burned one acre with moderate rate of spread and no structures threatened. At 6:24 p.m., forward progress was stopped.
