Shadow Hills Structure Fire Expands to Greater Alarm Status

Shadow Hills, Los Angeles, CA: Firefighters were on the scene of a greater alarm structure fire early Wednesday morning, Nov. 30, in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Shadow Hills within the city of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the reported 2:31 a.m. fire on the 10900 block of West Randall Street where crews found two large one-story commercial buildings, vehicles, vegetation and debris on fire.

Firefighters immediately began defensive operations to attack the flames and continued in that mode as over 100 firefighters battled the dubbed “Randall Fire.”

The fire involved a 50′ x 150′ one-story commercial structure with fire through the roof, as well as parked vehicles and a large amount of vegetation and debris with flames threatening at least two adjacent commercial structures, according to LAFD.

Fire department personnel were still on the scene as of 4:00 a.m.
