Speeding Motorcyclist with Female Passenger Leads CHP on Freeway Chase

Diamond Bar, Los Angeles County, CA: Two people on a motorcycle were taken into custody in the city of Diamond Bar after leading California Highway Patrol on a chase spanning multiple freeways Saturday night, Mar. 4.

CHP attempted to pull over a motorcycle for speeding eastbound on the 210 Freeway at Citrus Avenue in the city of Azusa area.

The motorcycle also had a passenger on the back of the bike. The motorcyclist did not stop for CHP prompting a pursuit of the speeding bike eastbound on the 210 Freeway coming up to the 57 Freeway.

The motorcycle took the southbound 57 Freeway from the 210 to westbound 60 Freeway.

The suspect pulled over to the right shoulder on westbound 60 Freeway just before Grand Avenue in the city of Diamond Bar.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department airship was overhead assisting CHP with the pursuit.

CHP took a male and a female passenger into custody.
