La Puente, Los Angeles County, CA: A homeowner was stabbed and a suspect is in custody after a reported home robbery in the city of La Puente Friday night.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a call of a home robbery in progress on Turk Drive at approximately 10:28 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 22, 2022.

When units arrived on the scene, they located the homeowner outside with a stab wound with the robbery suspect still inside the home. The Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived and provided care to the stabbed homeowner. LACoFD transported the patient by ambulance to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

LASD deputies called out to the suspect and eventually the suspect exited the home and was placed into custody. LACoFD returned to the scene on Turk Drive to assess the suspect who kept yelling for help while inside an LASD vehicle. The suspect was transported by ambulance by LACoFD to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
