Suspect Vehicle Crashes into Innocent Motorists During Pursuit; Multiple Victims Injured, Suspects in Custody

Harvard Heights, Los Angeles, CA: A multi-vehicle injury traffic collision occurred as the result of a pursuit Tuesday morning, Mar. 7.

Los Angeles Police Department Central Division officers initiated a pursuit of a stolen vehicle around 12:35 a.m., according to LAPD.

The pursuit terminated when the suspect collided with two other vehicles at the intersection of Western Avenue and Washington Boulevard in the Harvard Heights neighborhood of Central Los Angeles.

The exact number of victims and suspects are not currently known. At least two people inside the suspect vehicle were taken into custody.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded for a physical rescue response and transported multiple patients to local area hospitals.
