PHOENIX, Ariz., Apr. 8 (KNN) — UFC champion Henry Cejudo gave a press conference after his home studio was broken into and his championship UFC belt was stolen, along with several production equipment items from his producer.

According to Cejudo, his producer was sleeping in his home studio early Tuesday morning around 4:30 a.m. when he awoke to a loud noise.
His producer went back to sleep and later discovered several items, including cameras, hard drives, and a laptop, had been taken along with Cejudo’s UFC belt.
Cejudo said that, beyond the value of the items taken, what bothers him the most is the loss of his sense of security in his home.
This incident occurred just days after Cejudo stopped suspects attempting to flee from a vehicle that slammed into his neighbor’s home on Friday evening, Apr. 4, in the 1800 block of East Berridge Lane.
No one in the damaged home from the crash sustained injuries.
Despite the unsettling incidents, Cejudo’s message at the press conference was calm and clear regarding neighborhood safety, not just for his neighborhood but for all neighborhoods. More police are needed, he said, and be sure to get cameras and “lock your doors.”
