Vehicle Slams Into Van Nuys Dental Office Trapping Driver

VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES, Dec. 18 (KNN) — A driver was trapped after crashing through the front of a dental office in Van Nuys early Monday morning.

Firefighters and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division officers responded to a solo vehicle into a dental office around 2:15 a.m. in the 14300 block of West Victory Boulevard.

When first responders arrived at the scene, they located the vehicle inside the waiting room of the dental office with the driver trapped inside.

The driver was extricated by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety was en route to assess the structure. Firefighters were observed clearing debris from the waiting room that included a decorated Christmas tree.

LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division is handling the investigation into the cause of the crash.
