La Mirada, Los Angeles County, CA: One person was trapped inside an SUV on its side after a two-vehicle collision in the city of La Mirada.

Los Angles County Fire Department crews responded to a report around 8:28 p.m. of a two-vehicle collision with injuries at East Imperial Highway and South La Mirada Boulevard on Friday, Mar. 11.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found a white SUV on its side with a person trapped inside. It took LACoFD crews approximately 25 minutes to extricate the male patient.

CARE ambulance transported the patient with unknown injuries to a local area hospital. The status of the occupant(s) of the other vehicle is not known at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies were at the scene investigating the crash.
