3-Vehicle Fiery Crash in Boyle Heights Leaves 1 Dead, 3 Hospitalized

BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 23 (KNN) — One person was killed, and three others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving fire in Boyle Heights early Saturday morning.

A rollover traffic collision occurred in Boyle Heights at approximately 12:19 a.m. at the intersection of East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue and Brittania Street, specifically in the 500 block of North Brittania Street.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene, where they found a three-car collision, with one vehicle engulfed in flames. One individual, whose age and gender remain unknown, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

According to the LAFD, three other patients were transported to a hospital in “at least serious” condition.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Division is the lead agency on the investigation.
