Jewelry Stolen in Sherman Oaks Smash-and-Grab Robbery

SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25 (KNN) — A thief smashed through glass to steal jewelry from a store in Sherman Oaks early Tuesday morning.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a reported burglary at a jewelry store in the 13300 block of Riverside Drive after a window was smashed around 2:15 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found the store owner inside, cleaning up glass from the broken window and a shattered display case.

The thief stole an unknown amount of jewelry.

The LAPD is investigating the incident, and the total value of the stolen items has not yet been determined.
