Large Trash Bags of Marijuana Stolen From Sun Valley Business Ends in Pursuit; Suspects at Large

SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES, Feb. 25 (KNN) — Suspects managed to evade police during a chase after attempting to burglarize a business in Sun Valley at approximately 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a burglary call in the 11800 block of Sheldon Street, where officers encountered a suspect leaving a marijuana manufacturing warehouse.

A pursuit was initiated, but the suspect’s vehicle was lost on the freeway. Moments later, an LAPD airship located the vehicle, and the chase resumed.

It ended near the intersection of the 101 Freeway and Gower Street.

Officers discovered multiple bags of marijuana scattered across the floor, including large trash bags and smaller bags, at the burglary location.

Authorities also found a live round at the burglary site and are treating the suspects as armed and dangerous.

The individuals remain at large, and the investigation is ongoing.
