SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Calif., Feb. 25 (KNN) — One person was killed in a traffic collision on the 110 Freeway overnight in the Vermont-Slauson area of South Los Angeles.

California Highway Patrol’s Central Los Angeles Area officers and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound 110 Freeway at Slauson Avenue shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they located at least three vehicles involved in a collision as well as a victim down in lanes.
LAFD paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
A Sig Alert was issued for the incident.
