Person Plunges to Their Death Off Sixth Street Viaduct in Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 25 (KNN) — A person was found dead after falling off the Sixth Street Bridge in Downtown Los Angeles early Saturday morning.

The Los Angeles Fire Department along with police officers from LAPD’s Central Division, responded to reports of a “person down” shortly after 1:30 a.m. in the middle of the Sixth Street Viaduct.

While en route, emergency personnel were advised that the victim had fallen off the bridge. Upon arrival, they began searching the area under the bridge in the Los Angeles River channel with the assistance of LAFD Air Operations.

A deceased victim was located in the channel in approximately one inch of water.

The Los Angeles County Coroner was en route to the location. No further information was immediately available.
